How to use Friendse

Every feature on Friendse, explained in plain language — step by step, in the order you will use them.

1. Account & logging in

Friendse does not use passwords. You log in with your email and a personal access code.

  • Sign up: enter your name and email, and accept the Terms of Service.
  • Save your access code: it is shown once after sign-up. Copy it and keep it somewhere safe.
  • Log in: email + access code. Nothing else is needed.
  • Lost the code: use “Access code forgotten?” on the login page. After our check, a new code is emailed to the same address.
  • Extra protection: you can switch on two-factor verification in your settings.
  • Never share your code. Our team will never ask you for it.

2. Your profile & friends

  • Edit profile: photo, cover image, name and a short bio.
  • Follow / friends: people you follow appear in your feed; your followers see your posts.
  • Public or private: a private account means you approve every new follower yourself.
  • Privacy settings: control who can find you, follow you and message you.
  • Profile visitors & insights: see who visited your profile and how your content is doing.
  • Block: a blocked member can no longer contact you or interact with your content.

3. Feed & posts

The feed is the home of everyday posts — text, photos or both.

  • Create a post: tap “Create post”, write your text, add photos, and share.
  • React, comment, share: every post can be liked, commented on and shared with your own followers.
  • Save: keep any post for later in your Saved list.
  • Search & Explore: find people, posts, Groups, Pages and products from the search bar.
  • Daily limits: up to 15 image posts and 15 text-only posts per day.
  • Storage rule: image posts are deleted automatically 2 months after posting. Text-only posts stay.
  • Review: uploads pass an automatic safety check and team review before they are public.
What decides your feed order? A mix of who you follow, how fresh a post is, and how people are engaging with it. Everyone gets the same rules — you cannot pay to change your ordinary feed placement, and the exact internal weighting is kept private to stop it being gamed.

4. Status & Reels

  • Post a photo or a short video as your Status.
  • Daily limit: 3 per day, or 10 per day with Premium.
  • Auto-delete: every Status is permanently removed 10 hours after posting — deleted, not hidden.
  • While it is live: see viewers, reactions, replies and the time left.
  • Reels view: swipe through Status videos full screen, react, reply, save or share.
  • Sounds: add a track from the sound library when you create a Status video.
  • Genuine views: Status video watch time is measured to count real views — this is what earnings are based on.

5. Messages

  • One-to-one chats and group chats, with images and file sharing.
  • Message requests: a chat from someone new can be accepted or declined.
  • React to messages, edit or delete your own, pin an important chat, and run polls in group chats.
  • Typing indicators, read receipts, online status and unread counts are built in.
  • Each chat can have its own colour theme.
  • Buyer and seller messages for Shop Sphere orders stay in the same inbox.

6. Groups

  • Create or join a community around any topic.
  • Members: approve or decline join requests, invite people, mute, remove or block a member.
  • Roles: owners and admins manage rules, posts and members.
  • Group posts follow the same Community Guidelines as the rest of the site.

7. Pages

  • A Page is a public presence for a brand, business or creator — separate from your personal profile.
  • Pick a category, add a photo and description, and post from the Page.
  • People follow a Page instead of adding it as a friend.
  • Creating Pages is a Premium feature.

8. Shop Sphere (marketplace)

If you are buying:

  • Browse or search, then filter by category, price or location.
  • Open a listing to read the full description, delivery time and seller terms.
  • Message the seller from the listing if you have questions.
  • Place your order at checkout and follow it on your orders page.
  • If something goes wrong, use “Report a problem” on the order — the Refund & Return Policy applies.

If you are selling:

  • Create a listing with real photos, a clear price, category and description.
  • New listings are reviewed by the team before they appear publicly.
  • Accept orders, deliver on time, and mark items sold when they are gone.
  • Add your payout method so approved order money can reach you.
  • Featured placement can be requested for a listing; it is reviewed like any other paid item.
  • Selling rules are in the Seller Policy and Digital Delivery Policy.

9. Reach Sphere (boosting a post)

  • Pick one of your own approved posts, choose the audience and the budget.
  • Pay up front and submit the payment reference with the campaign.
  • The campaign starts only after the team verifies the payment.
  • Track reach, impressions and spend live while it runs; you can pause, resume, extend or stop it.
  • Budget is only used for impressions actually delivered — the rest is recorded for refund.
  • Full rules are in the Boost Policy.

10. Earning from your content

Once your account is approved for monetization, genuine views on your videos can earn money.

  • Apply: send a monetization request from the Monetization page. The team reviews it.
  • What counts as an eligible view: a signed-in member, watching a real part of the video, passing our fraud checks. Each view counts once.
  • What never counts: guests, repeated or scripted views, bot traffic, and self-inflated views.
  • Only your own content earns. Anything using someone else's copyrighted photo, video or music is not eligible, even if it was approved by mistake.
  • Your rate: your own current earning rate and your full earnings history are always visible on your analytics page.
  • Other tools: depending on what is enabled for your account you may also see gifts, supporter payments, paid opportunities and shop earnings in the same place.
Why rates differ between creators. Rates are set per creator from real eligibility signals such as account standing, audience and watch quality. Nobody is guaranteed a maximum rate, the internal formula and the platform's rate settings are not published, and no one from our team will ever offer you a “better rate” in a private message.

11. Getting paid (withdrawals)

  • KYC first: identity verification is required before your first withdrawal.
  • Holding period: new earnings are held 30 days for fraud review (3 days for Premium members).
  • Minimum balance: the current minimum is shown on your withdrawals page.
  • Payout methods: JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer, or crypto/USDT, depending on your region.
  • Review: each request is checked by the team; you are notified when it is approved, paid or rejected.
  • Double-check your account details — payments sent to wrong details you entered cannot always be recovered.

12. Premium

  • Premium is an optional paid plan with extras such as more Status uploads per day, Pages, a verified badge, a faster 3-day withdrawal hold and an ad-free site.
  • How to pay: send payment using the details on the Premium page, then submit the form with your transaction reference.
  • Activation happens after the team verifies the payment — usually within a day.
  • Your plan status and history are on your subscription page.

13. Invite friends (referrals)

  • Share your personal referral link from the Referrals page.
  • Accounts that join through your link are listed there, with your reward status.
  • Only real people count. Fake, duplicate or self-made accounts are removed and can cost you the reward.

14. Analytics

  • Overview: views, eligible views, watch time and earnings in one place.
  • Content: how each post, Status or video performed.
  • Audience: where your viewers come from, and how they compare over time.
  • Export: download or print your own figures whenever you need them.

15. Notifications & Saved

  • The bell icon shows follows, likes, comments, messages, order updates and review results.
  • Mark as read, clear all, or delete single notifications.
  • Turn browser push notifications on or off at any time.
  • Saved: everything you saved — posts, Status, videos and listings — in one list.

16. Appearance & language

  • Switch between light and dark mode from the header.
  • Choose a colour theme for the site and a separate theme for chats.
  • Set your language from your profile settings.

17. Safety, rules & appeals

  • Report: posts, Status, videos, comments, profiles, Groups, Pages and listings all have a Report option.
  • Review: uploads are checked automatically and by our team; content that breaks the rules is not published.
  • Strikes: a first violation is a warning, then posting restrictions, then a view-only period, then suspension for repeated violations.
  • Appeals: each decision can be appealed once from the notice you receive; a person reviews it.
  • You are responsible for everything you post — read the Community Guidelines, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  • Friendse is not an emergency service. If someone is in danger, contact local emergency services first.
