Community Guidelines

1. How review works

• When your upload reaches 100%, an automated safety check runs on the media and the text you wrote.
• Clearly unsafe content is rejected immediately and is never stored or shown to anyone.
• Everything else is saved and sent to the Friendse review team. It stays hidden from feeds, the Status tray and your followers until it is approved.
• Once approved, it goes live automatically. If it is rejected, it is removed and you can be warned or restricted depending on what the content was.
• Approval is not permanent: Friendse may review published content again at any time, for example after a user report.

2. Nudity and sexual content

• No nudity, sexual acts, sexual services, or pornographic material of any kind.
• No sexually suggestive content involving anyone who is, or appears to be, a minor. This is reported and the account is removed permanently, with zero warnings.
• No sexualised close-ups or content whose main purpose is sexual arousal, even when clothed.
• Medical, educational, breastfeeding and artistic contexts are allowed where they are clearly not sexual.

3. Violence, harm and dangerous acts

• No graphic violence, gore, torture, or footage of real deaths and serious injuries.
• No threats of violence against a person, group, or place, and no praise or support for violent individuals or organisations.
• No terrorist, extremist, or organised-crime content, recruitment or fundraising.
• No dangerous challenges, stunts, or instructions that could get someone hurt if copied.
• No content that encourages suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders. If you or someone you know needs help, contact local emergency services.

4. Hate speech and harassment

• No attacks, slurs, dehumanising language or hateful stereotypes based on religion, ethnicity, nationality, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or serious illness.
• No bullying, targeted insults, threats, stalking, or coordinated pile-ons against any individual.
• No sharing of someone's private information — phone number, address, ID card, documents, private photos or chats — without their consent.
• No sexual harassment, unwanted sexual messages, or blackmail of any kind.

5. Illegal and regulated goods

• No drugs, alcohol sales to minors, tobacco/vape sales, weapons, ammunition, explosives, or instructions for making them.
• No counterfeit goods, stolen items, stolen accounts, hacked data, or fake documents.
• No gambling, betting schemes, money-laundering, or unlicensed financial services.
• No human trafficking, smuggling, or exploitation of any kind.
• Marketplace listings follow all the same rules and are approved separately by the Friendse Team before they appear.

6. Honesty, scams and impersonation

• No scams, fake giveaways, phishing links, investment or "double your money" schemes.
• No impersonating another person, brand, or Friendse staff, and no fake or misleading verification claims.
• No harmful misinformation, such as fake medical claims or content that could cause real-world panic or harm.
• No spam: repetitive uploads, repeated follow requests, mass tagging, link-dumping, or content posted only to drive traffic elsewhere.

7. Content that belongs to someone else

• Upload only what you made yourself or clearly have permission to use.
• Re-uploading someone else's photos, videos, films, TV clips, or music without rights is not allowed and can be removed at any time.
• Content containing someone else's copyrighted material is never eligible for monetization, even if it was approved by mistake.
• Use the free in-app sound library for music instead of adding copyrighted tracks.

8. Minors and account age

• You must be old enough to legally use online services in your country to have an account.
• No content that exposes, endangers, or sexualises children, and no accounts run on a child's behalf for exposure.

9. Playing fair with reach and earnings

• No bots, scripts, bought views, bought followers, or view-exchange groups.
• No creating multiple accounts to farm referrals, earnings, or reach.
• No attempts to bypass the content check, daily upload limits, rate limits, or a restriction placed on your account.
• Views detected as fraudulent, duplicate, or bot-like do not earn, and the account can be suspended.

10. Upload limits on Friendse

• Status: up to 3 per day, auto-deleted after 10 hours, video trimmed to 9:16 automatically.
• Videos are capped at 30 seconds (60 seconds for Premium).
• Posts: up to 15 image posts and 15 text-only posts per day. Image posts are deleted automatically 2 months after posting.

11. What happens if you break these rules

• The content is not published, or is removed if it was already live.
• You may receive a strike. Strikes can limit posting, commenting, or earning for a period of time.
• Serious violations — child safety, terrorism, trafficking, or repeated abuse — result in an immediate permanent ban and, where the law requires it, a report to the authorities.
• If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal it from your account and a human will look at it again.

12. Reporting

Every post, Status, video, comment, profile and listing has a report option. Reports are private — the person you report is not told who reported them. Please report instead of arguing in the comments.
